How to make simple and quick mutton liver roaster -- eeral varval

 Mutton liver roast

South Indian style


Extremely simple and tasty mutton liver roast that can be done within 10 minutes if you have the ingredients ready.  The mutton liver itself has a meaty taste so we don't need to add any extra flavor to get the dish

Ingredients 

Oil  - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon 
Cumin 1/2 tsp
Shallots - 100 grams
Green chilli  -3
Mutton liver - 400 grams 
Chili powder  -1 tsp
Garam masala -1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as required
Curry leaves and coriander leaves

Instructions


  • Heat the oil in a pan or kadai, add mustard and cumin, and let it crackle to give a good flavor
  • Add split shallots and green chilies and saute well
  • Add liver(eeral) and turmeric powder and give a good mix then 
  • Add chili powder, garam masala, and pepper powder, and cook on a medium flame no need to add water
  •  Stir occasionally until cooked through
  • Finally, add finely chopped coriander leaves for a good flavor

Prep work




Heat the oil in a kadai, add mustard and cumin,


When sizzling and aromatic add sliced shallots and chopped green chilies and saute well



Now add curry leaves and ginger garlic paste and saute well till  the raw smell
Fade away



Add washed mutton liver and stir fry


Add turmeric powder 




Add masalas and give a good mix


Now it's time to add the required salt and cook through


Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame 


Yummy, quick, and simple mutton liver roast is ready to relish
