Instant Amla pickle |instant Indian gooseberry pickle
Amla or Indian gooseberry is an excellent source of vitamin C ,vitamin E and minerals, adding this to your daily diet is a great way to get a maximum health benifits
Amla helps to improve immunity, helps in digestion,good for hair and skin,also it is high in antioxidants which reduces the risk of heart disease and reduces the bad cholesterol

Ingredients
- Sesame oil -5 tbsp
- Mustard -1/2 tspn
- Amla -10
- Turmeric powder -1/4 tspn
- Chilli powder -1 tbsp
- Asafoetida -1/4 tbsp
- Fenugreek mustard powder -1/2 tbsp
- Salt as required
Instructions
- Wash and cook Amla by streaming them or boiling in water for 10 minutes
- Place a pan and add oil then goes in the Mustard
- Add steamed and separated Amla
- Now add spices like turmeric powder, Chilli powder and asafotida
- Now place a small pan and add mustard and fenugreek and dry roast them and make a fine or coarse powder
- Add this mustard and fenugreek powder then add required salt and give a good mix and turn off the flame, allow it to cool and transfer to a jar or container and store it in refrigerator

Clean and cook Amla by boiling them in water or you can stream them
Then remove the seeds from Amla you don't need to cut them, it will easily gets separated
Place a pan then add oil and mustard,
Then add chilli powder
Then goes in the asafoetida and give a good mix
Then add roasted and powdered mustard and fenugreek powder it gives a good flavour to the pickle, mix well and turn off the flame
Instant Amla pickle is ready to serve
Now allow it to cool and transfer to a container and store in refrigerator. The shelf life of this pickle is less when compared to the traditional method of making Amla pickle it takes a long time to make and last for very long time.
So, whenever you make this instant version try to make in small batches.
