Very simple Sweet corn parcel|sweet corn kozhukattai
Sweet version
Sweet corn is the best snack for kids as well as adults,sweet corn contain fiber which supports digestion.
Sweet corn is high in fiber, which helps you to stay fuller for longer,it can decrease the risk of heart disease.
Sweet corn kozhukattai
Ingredients
- Sweet corn -1
- Sugar -2 tbsp
- Rice flour -2 tbsp
- Cardamom -2
Instructions
- Remove the outer part of the sweet corn called husk, do not discard the husk. Keep it aside
- Remove the sweet corn kernels vertically using knife, remove a single line then it will be easy to remove the rest of the sweet corn kernels
- Add this to a jar and make a paste,do not add water
- Then add cardamom, sugar,rice flour and grind well
- Transfer the batter to a bowl
- Take the husk and fill batter
- Take a spoon full of batter and fill it then fold the husk to seal it.
- Make all the parcel and steam for 10 to 15 minutes in a idly pot or steamer.
