Peanut chutney




There are many types of peanut chutney that tastes really good, but I'm going to share this peanut chutney which is very easy to make
 
This is similar to tomato chutney but it completely tastes different

Whenever i make this chutney my family members would love to have this chutney because of its unique taste

There are many types of chutney we can make using this tomato and peanut, which will have a different taste.

Adding peanut for this chutney gives a very different taste, just give it a try

Peanut contains protein and fiber, adding it in our diet makes our heart healthy.

Ingredients for making peanut chutney

  • Peanut      - 1/4 cup
  • Onion        -2 medium sized
  • Tomato      - 2 
  • Ginger        -1/2 inch
  • Dry chilli     -6 nos
  • Oil   -2 tspn           
  • Salt as required 
  • Curry leaves




How to make peanut chutney

Heat oil in a pan add peanut roast till it changes to light brown colour



Remove and transfer to a plate and let it cool

Then add onion to the same pan



Add ginger and curry leaves



Add dry chillies



Then add tomatoes, add required salt and saute well until the tomatoes becomes soft

Transfer it to a plate and let it cool 



Now add all the cooked stuff into a jar to make a fine paste



Transfer it to a bowl and the chutney is ready to serve


Serve it with hot and white idlis 

It tastes even good when it is seasoned
